AfrobizGermany is set to host all African bloggers worldwide in Berlin, Germany on the 2nd of November, 2018. According to Samson Itodo, the convener of this year’s grand event, “It is time for African bloggers to get the usage of blogging correctly. We must share our stories, voices and image in a way we want to be perceived and not what others say about us”.
This convention will revamp the blogging arena and blogers will be re-engineered to use the their social media space with a new consciousness devoid of fake news and distasteful content.
Bloggers from across Africa and the diaspora will converge in Berlin on 2nd of November for the first “Afro-Bloggers Convention”.
The event, organised by Afrobizgermany.com, an online platform that projects the Black community in Germany to the outside world, is aimed at bringing Afro-bloggers together to discuss “The impact of blogging in our community”.
The one-day event features discussions, workshops and networking opportunities. Bloggers will also have the opportunity of sharing their challenges and how to surmount them.
It promises to be a very adventurously exciting moment for bloggers.
Accorsing to the CEO of Afrobizgermany, Samson Itodo, the convention became necessary because blogging has become an important part of the mass media in Africa.
